Olivia is getting so big! Joseph is doing great in school. Sassy is even doing great. I FINALLY got a job I absolutely LOVE! I work for Animal Medical Center as a receptionist. Am sooo happy with my job (and I get to play with animals all day!). (My pic is even on their web site!) I also now have a myspace page! Go me! Don't know how to tell you to find it though... Will have to get back to you on that one. Anyhoo - that's it for me.

We are having a girl. There is so much stuff we still need and only 4 months to go! I have started knitting a blanket (will I ever finish it???). The little min pin I got, Sassy, is becoming more and more of a hand ful. I love her to death but she destroys EVERYTHING! She has a thing for socks I have noticed. Especially fresh-off-you-feet socks. Eww!

I'm having a baby shower on May 13th. Yea! Am very excited! Luv parties!!!

Joseph is handleing all of this quite well. He's started t-ball and likes it more now. Hated it at first. I do feel like they practice WAY too much! 3 days a week?!? And than 2 games every weekend!!! Ugh! Oh well. Price you pay and all that.

That's all for now. Class reunion coming up ~ debating on whether or not to go.

The 10 Commandments of Morning Sickness

~ from the book "The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy" by Vickie Iovine

1~ Eat Small Amounts of Bland Foods All Day Long.

2~ Don't Eat Anything that Doesn't Smell Appealing to You

3~ Eat Something at Around 4:00 A.M., or After Your Last Middle-Of-The-Night Visit to the Toilet

4~ Take your pretnatal vitamins at night, or stop altogether until you are feeling better. (Your Doctor may want you to take Folic Acid Supplements in the meantime)

5~ Do not take your vitamins with Citrus Juice.

6~ When nothing sounds appetizing, try a bowl of cereal with milk or a piece of sweet fruit

7~ If the thought of chewing any kind of food makes you sick, try sucking on natural licorice drops (they can be soothing)

8~ Try wearing the elastic wristbands that are sold in pharmacies to prevent seasickness

9~ Skip the saltines unless you have a real craving for them (which I can't imagine unless you are a parrot).

10~ Follow your cravings. If you really want some particular type of food, there is a good chance it will actually make you feel a little better if you eat it. (just be careful if your cravings are consistently for Chocolate and Ice cream, like mine was)

: Well ~ Christmas is over. It was okay for us. Apparently we must have done something to upset some people in our families because we were a little neglected in the gift department. I'm not saying any names but let's just say I didn't get anything from one part of the family. Anyway ~ not going to worry about it too much.
I'm a little aggravated because of a friend of mine. We had sort of fell out of touch (my fault - I admitt it). And about a week ago, I sent her an e-mail and an e-card appologizing and stuff and she has not acknowledge my e-mail and has not picked up the e-card and I know she checks her e-mail several times a day. So my feelings are a little hurt.

On the Pregnancy Front ~~ I'm having a little nausea and actually didn't eat anything at all on Christmas Eve but yesterday, Phillip (my hubby) forced me to eat a slice of toast which actually did help! I was able to eat Christmas dinner at his family's. And it was soooooo good! That veg. cassarole! Mmmmmmmm! Wish I had some more! Other wise same ole same ole.

Entry for December 24, 2005: It is so freaking cold! I hate cold weather! Anyhoo - found out we're pregnant on Dec 1. Went to doc on Dec. 7 and was told I was 7 weeks than went back on Dec. 20 and found out that I had JUST turned 7 weeks preggo! What the?! And the baby's heartrate is a little slow ~ trying to look on the bright side ~ maybe (s)he is just really laid back, huh? Anyhoo - Joseph is so ready for Christmas! We have "magic" raindeer food that we are supposed to "sprinkle" on the lawn tonight. We also have some fireworks that we are going to pop. Joseph has named the baby "speedy". LOL!

Let's see... I'm 27 years old. I am happily married to my husband, Phillip. 28k We met at church many many years ago! We have been through a lot together.
